Scanbook is committed to protecting your privacy.

Information We Store

Scanned barcode values, generated barcode values, timestamps, and barcode types are stored locally on your device. Scanbook does not operate a separate app-owned backend for scan history.

Google Drive Backup

If you choose to use Google Drive backup, Scanbook signs you in with Google and requests access to files created by this app. Backup files are stored in your own Google Drive account.

Purchases

Subscription status and purchase entitlement information are processed through Apple In-App Purchase and RevenueCat so the app can unlock Pro features.

Advertising

Scanbook does not display ads in the current App Store release.

Data Deletion

You can delete local data by deleting app data or uninstalling the app. Google Drive backups can be deleted from your Google Drive account.
